  • What a wine! Critics definitely slept on this.

Though this was shut down on the first night; it performed fantastically the next day. Wife and I kept wondering if this was the same wine from the previous night. Wonder what causes this phenomena - we've brought a lot of chards to life by just leaving them overnight in the fridge and revisit the next day.

Judicious oak with medium body. Very aromatic. Offers a panoply of flavors - light butter, popcorn, meyer lemon, lightly toasted oak, creme brulee flavors. Everything was harmonious with long finish. Will seek out more bottles.

  • Tour - Burgundy 2013; 5/14/2013-5/20/2013 (Burgundy, France): Wife rated 90 (buy) due to how it would taste with fish and white meat. Bouquet pear, apple, sweet. Taste elegant, long finish with butter at very end. Tasted in Burgundy at Caveau in Chassagne-Montrachet in flight of 4 wines. $42 / bottle. Overpriced.
