My first Bobal. Very nice. Awesome QPR at $10 I paid as a vintage close out at Stews. Picked up more while on sale. Great red cherry, berry & some smoke and spice. Fresh acidity and smooth tannins.

Dark fruit, mocha, and hints of oak. Not a long finish but very pleasant throughout. This wine is best consumed young and will be very enjoyable and a crowd pleaser.

What can I expect from a vine called "Passion..."? I imagine a direct, fruity and fresh wine. I´m finally right, but the wine offers more. It´s surprising. You will want to have another cup, for sure.
Pasión de Bobal has a very nice colour. It´s bright cherry red. Its purple border reveals what comes next...
http://www.vinatelia.com/2013/02/pasion-de-bobal-2010-en-san-valentin.html This bobal smells like raspberries. The aromas of oak are subtly hidden, but there´s a little bit of sweet spicies and toasted aromas.
In the mouth it feels nicely sweet. It´s fresh, fruity, and its final is longer than I expected.
