A nice nose of orange blossom and fresh apple, with peach and firm pear in the mouth. Moderate sweetness. A decent finish, with chalky-gravelly minerals and flowers again. Great with spicy fare, Indian or Thai.

(Eugen Müller Forster Ungeheuer Riesling Spätlese) Light yellow color; tart white peach, ripe lemon nose; tart white peach, ripe lemon, mineral palate; medium-plus finish
(Eugen Müller Forster Ungeheuer Riesling Spätlese) ($30.00) This always needs a year. Now it’s as rugged as new jeans, when you had to break them in. Salty and abnormally hightoned and tangy. Still analog yet still precise, and loaded with Pfalz juiciness. I always underrate this.
