Tasted after an hour in decanter - really opened up a bit too much. Needs more fullness and complexity. Easy drinking wine. Note that wine stain seeped up through the inner cork.

Pleasant fruit aroma with mild spicy edges. Good acidity balancing its smooth medium tannins. Distinct smoky finish on the palate a mild coffee note. Short tannic finish. The blend of Mourvèdre
and Grenache mellows out the often overpowering South African shiraz. This wine should be even smoother with a year or two more, but is not likely to gain in complexity.

Nice match with rustic chicken stew with white beans and basil. Smokiness characteristic of SA red goes well with the bacon base of the stew. Good fruit and acidity too. Buy again.

Thick and fruity but still holding back. Try in a 6-12 mos.

Requires some decanting. Used Venturi and it totally opened up. Fruity and fresh with a solid backbone. Will reward a year or two in the cellar.
