(Eugen Müller Gewürztraminer Spätlese "Reiterpfad") ($30.00) Usually a blend of two sites, but one of them was destroyed by frost, so we get a single-site 1er Cru wine. And once again, we get a rare and splendid being – perfect German Gewürz. Impeccable balance, elegant but still forceful, just enough sweetness to barely taste sweet; graceful and incense-y and juicy and deft.
