Dundee Hills Passport Weekend; 4/17/2010-4/18/2010 (Dundee Hills Oregon): The age is evident on this wine already. Dried cherries, smoked salmon, and a copper note show on the nose. The cherries taste dried on the palate, but the acidity is still bright. A hint of strawberry flavors show through. The tannins are gentle and the fruit is rich. Some gentle heat shows on the finish.

Needed decanting for 2 plus hours. Nice smell of berries. Very short finish. Maybe a year to late to drink? But good

A pretty classic Oregon pinot, fairly big and cherryish, good earthiness, nice mouth feel, finish is a little rough.
