Arguably the worst bottle of wine I have had in 29 years of wine drinking. Disjointed flavors. Could not even detect that it was Shiraz. No balance, no finish. Basically dark food coloring with a little alcohol. I tried it several times over the course of the evening, then poured it down the sink. It's a screw top, so one can't blame it on being corked.

Surprisingly complex array of deep berry notes and flavor for a $7 bottle of wine. Compares favorably with other bottles of Shiraz in the $15-25 price range.

I disagree with each of the other reviews. The bottle I had took a few minutes to open but I got some pleasant fruit (really awesome nose) and some distinct acidity that resembled saline, or seawater - but in a good way. Enjoyed the first night but had some deterioration the 2nd night, despite preservation with argon. Definitely worth trying for less than $10 at trader joes. I bought this through a recommendation from the reverse wine snob blog.

For a 12 year old Shiraz that should have been consumed by 2015, thus wasn’t too bad. It’s definitely got age on it and the flavors were very muted.

Bitter black pepper and tar...I like bold wines, but this wasn't all that pleasant.
