Fruity nose and fruit forward. Tannins were not overwhelming but they were evident. Notes of cherry and black fruit, chocolaty with some earthiness. Nice finish. Good wine for a lighter meal, would probably be overwhelmed by a big savory meal.

A transition wine between Gordon Estate's main label and its top flight wines. For wines made in this style it's not at all bad. Fruity, oaky, light and still managing to show interesting qualities behind the fruit and oak.

Good but not worth the $30 price tag. Befitting the overpriced California price tags

Consistent with previous note. A nice value if it can be had for $20.
