Delightful bottle. Enjoyed with Short ribs at the Bayside Bar and Grill, San Diego. Quite youthful with Tannic undertones which which disappated with Air Time. Should last another 10 years. Good complexity with layered flavors. Wish I had more of this one. Bought from Winebid a few years ago. Recommend a 1 hour decant rather a PNP.

It’s delicious - Smokey nose, still lively acidity, nice zip, good life left yet. Mine was a library purchase from arietta a year or two ago so pristine provenance, but I adore these aged variation ones. Find one and enjoy old world sensibilities with new world fruit.

Never had an Arietta I didn't like and this was no exception. Strong backbone of fruit, tannins and acid. Showing the best of both the 60% Merlot and 40% Syrah. Coffee, mocha, a tiny touch of vanilla. This will continue to get even better, but drinking very well now, even popped and poured.

I think that this would go up in score but maybe needs another year or so. It still has a bit too much oak for me. I think it is delicious with an *. I hope the oak softens - at least for me. Some people love an oak first red.
