I am just a little bit amazed that this is still drinking as well as it is, this far past the recommended window. It was a little sour when I first poured a taste. It had improved a good bit a when we sat down to dinner a half-hour later -- it paired splendidly with roasted Cornish game hen stuffed with lemon, rosemary and garlic, gnocchi, and broccoli. Now, a couple hours later, it is rounding into form. Very much like you'd expect of a Willamette PN, but just a little softer. Lovely cherry cola notes, and the sour is much better modulated.

better than last bottle, perhaps because served with salmon, some
sweet cherry fruit, still plenty of acid

fruit a bit thin for the acid on its own
