Not fair to rate this as half was used for a Buerre Blanc Sauce that turned out just perfectly! While light in flavor it has a richer mouth feel than you'd expect. Light yellow with a steely, cumquat flavor. My last bottle and it has held up well compared to what some other notes suggest.

Another round of Oregon Pinots (2009 and older) (Lou Rad's): Perhaps it is unfair to rate this. I think it is just old and tired at this point. Light golden in color. The nose lacks much fruit. It has a dusty, dry quality to it. Someone said anise, but I did not get that. On the palate, this is quite tart. Like that super sour kid's lemon candy. Made my face contort. Tried again later in the night with some cheese (and air). It helped but not much. Lou said it was a recent purchase, so I am not sure how long it sat on the shelves.

Similar to my last taste of this 2 years ago. Light yello still young and fresh. Nose has limestone mi reality, white fruit, and light floral scent. Clean on the palate with a crisp fruitiness balanced with minreality and acidity. Lots of life left.

Light yellow color. Custard and pear nose with a hint of flint. Balanced and smooth. Will definitely last a while given the acidity. Aftertaste surprisingly long. Palate full of pear, quince, and lemon merengue with a mineral edge that is very enticing.

Lovely medium yellow green color. Somewhat floral nose. On the palate it has Pear, green apple and a hint of grapefruit. Steely with vibrant acidity.
