  • My best of three bottles bought from the estate, as time continues to serve this well. To call it a crowd pleaser would not do the wine justice, as it was served blind, alongside a revered Burgundy, to a group of very talented French winemakers and their families. While no one mistook it for Old World, there was a deep appreciation for the bottle. Concentrated, ripe red fruit, balanced by the notable oak. An example of powerful fruit and American oak coming together nicely, not something I would seek out routinely, but still would love to find another bottle of this in 6-8 years!

  • Settled down some from my last bottle two years ago, with fully integrated oak and an impressive richness. Still not what best suits my palate, but pretty admirable juice from a very admirable project.

  • Far from run of the mill, yet while I admired the impressive fruit and evident care with which the wine was made, nothing really came together for me. Forward in style, with some ripe fruit and oak apparent. To be revisited in 2+ years.
