  • Clear yellow color with faint green highlights. Quite closed and very stuffy nose with aromas of overripe, partly fermented tropical yellow fruits and obfuscating butterscotch oak. Quite muted and rather neutral palate with almost artificial flavors of vanilla-and-butterscotch oak, giving the wine really stuffy overall appearance, devoid of any freshness. Nuances of tart tropical fruits and citrus fruits beneath. Nice acidic backbone. Short and dull aftertaste with some spice and woody oak chip character giving the aftertaste a partly fudge-like, partly wet cardboard-like finish.

Very light, unsurprising, uninteresting and uninspired white wine devoid of any character or freshness. Practically the only good thing about the wine is its acidity, yet still it comes across as very stuffy, thanks to the overripe tropical fruit flavors (which are in stark contrast to the acidity) and obfuscating, artificial oak characteristics. I wine I would abhor returning to. Flavor-wise has nothing I'd want to have in my wine. At 7,98€ this is a genuine rip-off.
