  Nose is spice and alcohol even after an hour open. The mouth is very different, however. It starts with red berries and quickly adds baker's chocolate, black pepper and cedar. Mouthfeel starts of smooth and soft but finishes with a spike of dryness. Definitely a pinot on the weightier side. This one of those cases I wish I had more than just his one bottle.
