Dalle Terre Portfolio (Specialty Imports): Nice and simple, quaffable Chianti. Not as traditional in style, but does offer nice dried bing cherry fruits on the nose and a palate with some fine grained tannins and finishes with spice. Would probably be better with food, as Italian wine tends to be, but it was fine on its own as well.

Very little alcohol.....I drank the whole bottle with VERY little affects (not that I was trying to get drunk or anthing, I'm just saying! LOL!) Light, dry, smokey, peppery. Nice fruits, byt they are not too forward. Cherry leads the way.

Tasted Blind. Opaque garnet color. Creamy nose of blueberries and black currant. Oak is present on the light-to-medium bodied palate. Moderately tannic with medium acidity and lots of pure fruit. Good structure on the pleasant, unobtrusive finish. 50+5+11+14+6=86
