A remarkably light colour. Very light, cherry fruit with a touch of high tones on the nose. Light and very delicate on the palate. There's a hint of heat and spirit on the palate, yet the overall impression is of delicate, fragrant red fruit. Very Good Indeed.

(Amiot Guy Chassagne-Montrachet Clos Saint Jean) Medium-minus ruby-red colour. Fresh nose that's surprisingly tight for the vintage. Much more depth than the nose would suggest, clean, sweet and ripe flavours that open out on the mid-palate before fading into a nice medium-length finish that shows a lovely redcurrant note. Hard to fault, but it's only the finish that holds the interest.

One of the 5 was gone, but the other were 1er quality, grapefruit citrus which really worked in this complex red.
