Not exactly my favorite style of Pinot. There is a burnt tree bark sort of flavor that tells me there is a grape growing, possibly canopy management type of problem. Has quite a heavy viscosity for a Pinot. Pretty close to textbook light purple color. The nose has something like a camphor meets diesel fuel aroma. The mostly red fruit flavors are caught behind the secondary, not all that welcome or pleasant, medicinal or cough drop flavors. Some vanilla from oak. The finish has an evergreen, maybe cedar flavor. Not too keen on this wine.

Light red, subdued nose, palate of red fruit and cherries and not much more
