Similar note to the '13 bottle, but I'm clearly enjoying this more tonight. I'm not getting the floral as previously either, as it's more fatty, citrus, nuts, and saline focused. More focused and delicious for me tonight. Wish I had more.

My wife liked this right away. I was more hesitant as I didn't like it right out of the bottle all that much. However, over three days, I have grown to like it quite a bit. It is quite golden in color, and has subtle yet noticeable tannins, leading me to believe it has probably seen some decent skin contact. Beyond the apple cider (of the alcoholic kind) aromas and flavors that flaunt themselves first, underneath is quite ripe-fruited Roussanne. This is a wine that should not be served too cold, and ideally with food. We had it with three (very) different dishes, and it held up admirably well. A nice little wine, and for $9, hard to say anything bad about. From 2009 onward, in addition to being made from organic grapes, the estate has gone biodynamic.

Medium golden color. Not much on nose or palate on the pop, but 30-60 min. of air coaxed out some aromas of citrus rind, mineral, white flowers, and nut oil. Full-bodied and round on the palate, with flavors of lemon and saline. Short finish and needs acidity. Not offensive but not exciting either. Make sure to aerate. Pair with roasted chicken or lighter fare.
