A nose of minerals, apples, currants and a very faint hint of peaty whisky, with some more savoury, woody notes behind; Sandalwood, perhaps, or some other aromas commonly associated with Asia. Rounded apples and tropical fruits in the mouth, with some lime cordial. Chalky textures, a little sharp acid and maybe even some smokiness. Hugely complex. Well structured, suggesting it has quite a few more years left. Citrus and lychees on a long and satisfying finish.
