  • In my cellar forever. Drank with 6 friends at annual suckling pig roast. Expected nothing. Cork in decent shape-came out in 2 pieces. Light cherry red with some browning. Popped and poured. Leather, earth and minerals on the nose. Palate slightly bitter of leather, cedar, earth and shrooms. Drinking ok for what it is. Surprised at how well this held up.

  • Allowed to breathe in glass for 20 minutes before tasting. Clear light-medium brickish blood ruby. Evolved bouquet of leather, tar, camphor, meat, tobacco, some red fruit, and earthy mushrooms. Similar on the palate. Pleasantly tart and dry. Stayed about the same on day #2 under vacuum stopper. For fans of stinky old wines, like myself, this is reasonably enjoyable.

  • Best of 5 bottles tasted within the last year. Clear medium blood-ruby-brick red. Very nice aromas and flavors of leather, tobacco, tart red berries, earth and tar. Mouth-watering, fresh and crisp. Still delicious 2 days later under vacuum stopper.

  • Clear light-medium brickish ruby hue. Bouquet of rust, blood, leather, underbrush. Vaguely tart on the palate with no discernible fruit. Still drinkable though.
