  • Clean greenish lemon color. Attractive, bright and nuanced nose with green-toned aromas of lime, grapefruit, some leafy blackcurrant, a little anise and an elegant hint of aromatic oak. The soft, medium-bodied palate does not follow the nose; there are notes of ripe grapefruit, fennel and some peach, but also quite prominent toffee oak overtone. The wine has medium acidity, making it lack the structure and freshness suggested by the nose. Short and simple finish with some ripe fruit flavors, a hint of spicy oak and more pronounced acid freshness.

A decent everyday white, which is stylistically rather unobtrusive and aimed at the masses. The nose promised a lot more than the palate could deliver. An innocuous sipper to be enjoyed with simple, light dishes or on its own. Not quite worth the 14,25€.
