Community Tasting Notes (2)

  • Nose not unlike Auslese. Sweetness on the palate, but acidity cannot be found here. Don't feel botrytis as well.

  • Clear and bright, medium lemon colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and developing, showing pronounced intensity aromas of candied orange peel, honey, ripe peaches, lemon peel and honeysuckle. The wine is off-dry with a medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium+ body and medium+ intensity flavours of candied orange peel, ripe peaches, lemon peel and honeysuckle. Medium finish.

It is a good quality wine, it has a good complexity and a decent fruit concentration, but the finish is not long enough at it should have some more acidity to balance the fruit. Can drink now, but it has potential to develop more complexity in the next 1-2 years.
