Just poured into the decanter but - of course - took a hit right off the top and wow... in great shape. This is loaded with the stuff that makes Carneros Pinot so good... plenty of bright, red berries and only the slightest bit of minerality. Medium finish and silky tannins. Will definitely hold for a while yet but if ya got it, I would drink it now. Not because it won't hold, but because the fruit is still prominent that it would be a shame to not enjoy it now.

A Tasting of Pinot Noir (Wine Discount Center, Elston Ave, Chicago): Nice nose of cinnamon and holiday spices...and even more in the mouth. Overall a bit too much nutmeg for my palate.

Nice day in Napa - Ceja, Pine Ridge and Merryvale Wineries (Ceja/Pine Ridge and Merryvale Wineries): Tasted at winery. Aromas of tea and cherry on the nose. Black cherry, tea and earth in the mouth. Well balanced effort from Carneros fruit.
