Like most Bordeaux's from Martin Ranch, this wine ages well and still delivers powerful, but balanced fruit and structure. Deep stone fruit, with slight limestone and granite notes accompany a glycerin and smoky supple finish. Can't wait to open my 2005 soon!

Still tight. A bit harsh. Day 2 it was full of dark berries with moderate tannins just like a good cabernet.
