Wet gravel, earth, red fruits, but that distinct subtle green note! intense long finish, great in all other respects. Now that I reveiw my notes, don't know if this was 1er cru Aloxe Corton, or Corton Grand Cru, both "Clos des Marechaudes" which straddles both 1er and GC vineyards, and both Monopoles of Bichot. Ah, nothing is simple in Burgundy. 90-91.
