So I bought a cellar; 11/12/2022-12/31/2030: Pulled for a homecooked bone in ribeye dinner. Cork looked in great shape, but broke when pulling with an ah so. The wine had an ever so slight musty smell for a few seconds, that opened up to red fruit from the bottle. First pour was deep red, with slight bricking. Still decent tannins, but not in your face, and balanced red fruit on the palate. Hint of vanilla and oak. A decant has helped open it up a bit. Long, lasting finish. A very nice wine, that I expect will go well with dinner.
Edit - time in the decanter helped this, and it was amazing with a steak. The existing tannins cut through the meat, and balanced acidity shone through. Very nice.

Decided on this one for #otbn. Drinking really well. Red & blue fruits on the nose with some hints of plums; on the palate chocolate and leather with the plum coming through from the nose; tannins are well integrated with a 15-30 second finish.

Popped and poured. The cork gave the wine steward some trouble, by he was able to salvage it. Still very lively and full of fruit. That said, all tanins had resolved themselves and the wine was drinking wonderfully. Fruity and slightly sweet, but in a good way.

Cork shredded but wine is wonderful. Excellent nose, soft tannins, fruit still showing well.
