  “Mixed Bag of Wines from around the World”-Tasting, Flight 1, Wine 2 (non-blind), in January 2014. Screw cap. The wine was medium lemon in colour and offered an expressive nose of peach, apple, some lemon, lime, some honey and some wet straw. On the flavourful palate the wine showed peach, red apple, lemon, honey and wet straw, paired with a touch of residual sugar, medium-plus acidity and very good length. The medium-bodied, medium-complex wine was well-balanced, but lacked freshness. I re-tasted the wine a few hours later and got the impression that the wine tended to oxidise and fade quickly. Drink now.
