Nice nose, but behind a peppery opening with earth tones a very overcooked over ripe jammy berries. Lacks freshness and elegance. Reminds me more of a south Rhone gsm blend than a Pinot Noir.

Amazing QPR at $25. Who thought a Pinot from Sancerre would taste so good. Light translucent red in color. Nose of red berries, strawberry, vanilla and floral. Taste of strawberry and sour berries + some floral hints. Mild but present tannins, med. length. An elegant wine paired well with veal scallopini with mushroom cream sauce.

C: Quite translucent, medium intensity red. N: Strawberries, blackcurrant, green leaves, barn, pigsty. As it develops in the glass, licorice and potpourri. Lovely. Quite a complex nose, fruity but funky and earthy. M: Nice fruity attack with obvious complexity from the start (sour berries, sweet berries, potpourri). Has a bit of grip through the mid-palate, developing earthy farm tones through the medium finish. Mellow tannins, but not weak or thin in any way. O: A very nice pinot noir, complex already in youth. Well worth the price.

Cuvée de pinot noir classique de la Loire sur les petits fruits rouge et des arômes un peu terreux. Fait bien le job pour un vin de semaine
