Nose has notes of sweet tobacco, Palate is silky smooth, richly flavored with a long finish. Rich dark cherry compote with hints of cocoa powder and a hint of spice to add interest. This is probably drinking at its peak. Lovely.

Took this to Charlie Parker's. Rich nose, still primary and not showing much in the way of secondary notes. Oak is almost integrated but could use another year or two. Really nice on the palate and paired well with the NY Strip steak. Finish was long and complex. Very nice.

Still very youthful so I think this has years to go. Needed a couple hours to open up. Nice nose. Palate was nicely layered and the finish was decent. Paired with burgers and I thought the condiments on the burgers interfered with the enjoyment of the wine. Would pair better with steak or a nice beef stew. Would buy again.

Surprisingly young profile. Dark to the rim. Nose of primary fruit and oak notes. Palate is very rich, complex, still primary and fruit forward. The 50% new oak still needs a little time to integrate. Long finish. Will easily see its 10th anniversary. Hold for a few more years and you will be very happy.
