  This is a really good wine for the money. If you give this wine a chance to get some air, you will be blown away. You get a dose of earth and red fruit. You can drink this wine now or put it away for a few more years. Also, a great food wine b/c it is so versatile. It goes well with everything.

  Inky and tough when first opened but transformed when I used a Vinturi to speed things up. Raspberry and cherry nose with an underlying vegetal/shroomy character. Pepper notes. Flavors don't quite match the fruit on the nose but might with more breathing. Tons of tannins and still pretty closed down despite the bottle age. Don't attempt without food. Possibly amazing in a few years ESP given the price
