This wine got great reviews from James Suckling (91 I think) and the wine retailer. While I enjoyed it, I don't think it quite lived up to the billing. Drank with a Chinese vegetarian hot-pot. I little herbaceous on the nose with maybe lemongrass. On the palate it has good acidity and a slightly rustic quality, which I like in general. Not particularly long or complex, or interesting for that matter.

Clear and clean, nose and palate show white peach, melon and green apple notes in a crisp and refreshing food-friendy fashion that leaves with a long and lip-smacking finish. Beautiful winemaking shows through, in perfect balance with nice flavor intensity.

Billed by the distributor as the perfect wine for pesto but it's much more than that. Grass, citrus, melon, apricots, pears are all there. And very tasty, too. A versatile wine that can be drunk alone or with food. An excellent buy for 17 bones.

Light straw in glass, with some warmth, aromas of pear and melon emerge, which carry to palate with flavors of lemongrass and almond. Nicely balanced with a touch of slate and acidity, a rich mouthfeel and a medium-long finish. Ligurnian Pigato (Vermentino) is quite different from Tuscan examples, and this producer offfers up an outstanding example.

Very light staw color, with aromatic floral and tropical fruit notes, the palate opens with a rich mouthfeel and flavors of honeydew melon, llime and chalk, framed by crisp acidity and a medium-long lip-smacking finish. Terrific balance, rich fruit, complex minerality and just delicious.
