Decanted for an hour and still improved while drinking an hour later. Mixed reviews, but I thought it quite nice. Some dark red fruit and some tar (?). Fairly smooth.

Empty Nesters for the first time - Open some bottles (Tom & Janet's): Nice showing. This is a more restrained Malbec. Smoother. Some complexity. Easy to drink. Purple in color. The nose has tobacco and black cherries. On the palate, this is juicy with a creamier texture. Nice finish.

Dark purple. Warm earth on the nose. Dark fruit and tannins on the palate. Plenty of life left, may get better.
