Super nose immediately upon uncorking. Strawberry jam, anis, clove and earthiness in the nose. A bit mouth-watering I guess because the flavors are intense and balanced. Cherry fruit and earth with a hint of clove. Has a long, balanced finish. Probably at its peak now and for another year.

Dark ruby, raspberry, blackberry, brown sugar and cherry on the nose, sweet and lacy fruit on the attack with concentrated cherry and strawberry on the mid-palate, finishes dominated by dried cherries with undertones of allspice and chalky black plum
