Creamy, buttery and nutty. Definately showing some secondary characteristics but still nice ripe fruit present. Honeydew melon, manderin. Still decent structure and acidity through the palate.

A very light yellow, the nose is captivating with layers of character ranging from buttery nectarine to mineral gun flint aromas.
The palate unveils a big Chardonnay in terms of flavours, but also one of good complexity and balance given the mineral acidity at the core of the wine.
In particular the interplay between malo enriched stonefruits, textural acidity and gentle spices is a highlight. Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink from 2013-2020)

2013 Sydney Royal Wine Show - Exhibitor's Tasting & Trophy Wines Lunch (homebush & Darling Harbour): [Gold medal] {screwcap} Dilute, sweaty nose. Flavours of smoke and vague white stone fruits. Starts with some impact, then dies on the mid-palate. Sort-of medium-full bodied, but only on the parts of the palate it actually touches. Soft, powdery oak tannins don’t really help, in the end the finish is barely medium length. It’s OK, but not gold medal material in my book.
