  • Bottle breathe for 1 hour before serving. Typical Arnoux_Lachaux nose with right mix of flower, red fruit. The palate was initially powerful but quickly becomes gentle. This is very balanced but lack of excitement that I expected from this Domaine. The last one I tried was 2013 which is much better. Still enjoyable.

  • It took time to open up, first on the wooded side, earth and a bit mushroomy but after an hour or so the wine showed really beautifully, herbs, pine trees, menthol, a hint of tar and that végétal pinot style... really a disappointment turned into a stunner, Swann like... palate is youthful and vibrant, really enjoyable and drinkable... superb wine after all glad I opened it

  • This wine meets the standard for the Vosne-Romanee complexity. Complex aroma with earth, spice, smoke, layered on very dark red fruits. Flavor complexity with a mix of lighter and darker red fruits - decidedly lighter than the aroma. Complex finish with cool chalkiness and a lingering tannin.
