The rather dark color suggested oxidation, but there was none to speak of. A full white wine with a distinctive taste and texture. Worth getting again to encourage experimentation of this sort with a relatively unfamiliar grape. Pleasant but not profound, definitely "different."

The wine provides good value. It is not highly complex, but the aromas of floral, stone fruit (esp. apricot and peach), and stones is not highly simple either. The acidity is refreshing without being searing, and the finish is surprisingly long for the price.

Very light bodied and short lived, but while it lasts in the palate, it displays a nice combination of green apple, citrus and cream leading to a herbal, briny finish.
Killer QPR.

{screwcap, 13%} A kind of steely oiliness mixes with sandstone and mineral aromas. Tastes a bit briney and seawater-like, but with a slightly dense texture, reflecting fairly soft acid. Not a lot of presence on the palate; mild, light-bodied and a bit transient. Savoury and dry, but not terribly distinguished or memorable. Drink up.

Citrus fruit, green apple and hints of a gooseberry undertone. Lean body, refreshing and easy drinking, that doesn't give me much excitement.
