  This wine was a superb old cab. It was beyond its peak but it still had a nice garnet color and the nose was full of berry fruits and oak. The mouth feel was silky smooth and had a touch of a sweetness. There were a lot of medium berries and a hearty oaky tannin still remained in the finish.
  I expect it would have scored even higher in a tasting 10 years ago but it had that superb aged flavor that just hang on in your mouth. There was still acid enough to live for several more years, but if you have a bottle of this it is likely best to drink it soon.
