An interesting blend, not unlike shiraz viogniers we'd had previously. The shiraz component tasted wholesome, with some darker and cherry tones. A mild tart edge, I would assume brought about by the riesling. Probably didn't do this justice by drinking alone, I don't mean without friends, but without food. Feels like a food wine, and I don't mean a wine you'd eat, but one you'd drink with a meal. But you knew that.
