  Tasted in an '08/'09/'10 vertical quaff-off. The '09 was the least aromatic of the three, but still clean and mineral. If tasted on it's own it would be the best Barolo you've had recently.

  Pale to medium ruby with bricking. Unfiltered
  Aromatics medium+. Tar, rose and basalmic. Old dark cherry. No new oak
  Palate has a medium body. Acid medium+. Tannins medium+, fine and integrated. Alcohol medium+. Tart red cherry, followed by dark cherry. Minerality.
  Finish has a medium length. Balanced
  Developing some nice tertiary notes at this point. Fruit still there. Drink now as I think the structure is perfect.
  
  Tried the remainder of the bottle next night. Still nice, but the worst sediment I have ever encountered in a wine. Whole grape skin pieces in the bottom!
