  • Tasted in an '08/'09/'10 vertical quaff-off. The '09 was the least aromatic of the three, but still clean and mineral. If tasted on it's own it would be the best Barolo you've had recently.

  • Pale to medium ruby with bricking. Unfiltered
Aromatics medium+. Tar, rose and basalmic. Old dark cherry. No new oak
Palate has a medium body. Acid medium+. Tannins medium+, fine and integrated. Alcohol medium+. Tart red cherry, followed by dark cherry. Minerality.
Finish has a medium length. Balanced
Developing some nice tertiary notes at this point. Fruit still there. Drink now as I think the structure is perfect.

Tried the remainder of the bottle next night. Still nice, but the worst sediment I have ever encountered in a wine. Whole grape skin pieces in the bottom!
