  Quite a rich wine overall. The nose is sweet and savory red berry aromas, pepper and earth. Smells pleasing, the savoriness is really jumping out at me in a good way. Medium weighted, bright red fruit flavors in the mouth, raspberries, cranberry, pomegranate. A touch of savory flavor pairs with these flavors, reminding me of a hint of soy sauce. The finish has some citric feel, reminding me of ripe grapefruit. Overall, really nice, pretty rich but not overdone or hot. A good amount of oak but it well used, although some might find it big, I didn't mind it in the context of this wine. The overall balance is good. 90+
