Very little primary notes left, but this was not dead. In fact, it was quite enjoyable. The color was extremely bricked and there were no signs of tannins, but there was good acidity and good life left. If you like aged wines, you'll love it for years to come.

Well into that tertiary stage beyond everything primary and secondary, and cruising just fine. Remarkably well preserved for it's age (very few WA wines get this kind of mileage).

Loooooooooooooooove the Charbonneau. From the magnum. Cork was REALLY soft, so I was worried as heck when I opened it, but this wine was still just great. Probably would have been better a couple years ago though.

ORANGE ON THE EDGE. PEPPER AND LICORICE IN THE NOSE. BLACK CHERRIES AND GREEN PEPPER IN THE FLAVOR WHICH WAS SIMILAR TO THE NOSE. LONG FINISH.
