  • mineral, stoney, herbacious, well oaked chardonnay - some noticeable alcohol - but overall a well judged wine that convinces on its clear acid, good fruit persistence and more than a hint of mineral complexity.

  • Really nice commercial chardonnay with more than a touch of class about it. Generous yet balanced oak, defined and ripe fruit and beautiful mouthfeel. 100% malolactic and the toasty oak is a bit of a throwback to old school NZ chardonnay (albeit in an immaculate, modern style). It is very well made and makes a good case for the NZ style of bright, clean fruit, lovely ripeness and natural acid cut and structure.
