Burgundy Dinner with Friends (Formento's - Chicago IL): Glorious Vosne perfume to start. Red cherry flavors are slightly less complex, slightly more mature, slightly less exciting vs nose. Still certainly very good now.

Krug and Dom Perignon Dinner, with Bonus Wines (The Loyalist - Chicago IL): Maturing red fruit with spice hints and fairly firm tannins on finish. Not quite as interesting or "Vosne" as another bottle from last year, but in both cases it is clear this is a wine best to consume over the next 3-5 years. I will have to open one of my bottles sometime later this year to see if equally firm.

Open 20 minutes before serving, then tasted and revisited over the next two hours. Lots of maturing red cherry and berry with baking spice aplenty. Very elegant and very Vosne. Best over the first hour in glass, I'd think this best consumed over the next 5 years.

Lovely Vosne aromatics though this was a bit flat and less exciting on the palate. Fine enough but under-delivers the terroir.

Wines Enjoyed at John Kapon's 50th Birthday Bash (The Pool - New York NY): Very Vosne spiced with a touch more earth than I'd prefer at this age, but overall good flavors and good enough density.
