  When I first opened the wine, the first hour it was very herbal and almost sour. We let it sit for a little over an hour before we went back to it. Thank goodness it had changed. Change for the better.
  Showed better structure and thickness of juice. Nice black fruit and the finish lingered!

  Was concerned that I had held this Zinfandel too long, but no regrets. Structure was in tact. Big bold dark fruit with superb mouthfeel. Jammy but with notes of white pepper. Served with brisket chili.
