Lean, old-school wine with positive plum, pomegranite, and strawberry notes along with substantial brushy tannins. That interesting iodine note is still present along with a faint notion of baking spices. It has my mouth watering for food, which it would undoubtedly show better with.

Lean Merlot fruit with notes of iodine and iron/blood. Later, a remarkable change – now sweet red & black cherries & baking spices. The iodine & iron are faint now. Even at best this will not be amazing, but what an improvement!
