Even less to love than 2 months ago. Yes, the nose and palate exhibit some plum, currant and cinnamon, with some earthiness. But everything is disjointed and faint. The rustic charm has worn off. Sediment clings to the shoulder and some more deposits in the glass. Another example of don’t buy to be polite. Buy ruthlessly; not politely. 13.9% alc. With leftover (beef) burgers topped with a fried egg. Not Recommended.

Mere impressions with no notes take as this was an impulse pull as a second bottle when our Druet Vaumoreau finiished much too early. Plum, currant and cinnamon, with some earthiness. Clean yet rustic and delivering a lighter-than-desired mouthfeel. Some slight sediment and a shadow on the shoulder. 13.9% alc. With (beef) Shack attack burgers while PMB is home for a portion of her final spring break before graduation. Recommended with reservations.
