  Drank straight from the cellar (55 F) and was disappointed on the first glass. Nose was almost absent and the palate was very thin. However, by the second glass it had warmed up and the bouquet was pleasant, and forest notes came through on the palate. Drank side by side with a 2012 Elk Cove. The Elk Cove would be my first choice based on this tasting.

  The only deserving hole this should have passed through is the kitchen sink. Very thin in color, weak in every category, never even hugged the glass.....guess I should have known better in retrospect. Not a worthy offering by Touring and Tastings.

  In NOLA at GW Fins. Very nice Pinot with a good blend of cherry and oak. Nice with the scallops I had.

  The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like cranberry, raspberry and toast. The body is light/medium. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
