Just a touch green on the nose – the telltale East Coast green thing. With about 40 minutes of airtime, the pallet yields distinct vanilla, some tart fruit, pliant tannins and a lengthy finish. Smooth. I'd guess predominant Merlot with Cab Franc and maybe a smaller portion of Cab Sauv blended in. Very good structure and sustain. With time additional flavors -- leather, herbs -- emerge. Good wine from a very good growing year in the FLX.

Spinach Pesto with homemade pasta - nice wine with light garlic, olive oil - earthy, extremely dry, earthiness nice with pesto, mushrooms, etc. and pecorino cheese

Finger Lake Wine Tastings 2019; 6/21/2019-6/23/2019 (Ithaca, NY): Better than the merlot, this had some fruit, herbs and earth. $45 seemed expensive for this as well. Drink now.
