  • A beautiful clear light yellow color, from the nose this wine had a wonderful nose that was bready/yeasty, nutty, vanilla, pears, and other fruits. On the palate dried apricots really came through along with a bready/yeasty flavor and honey as well.

For a California sparkling white, this one aged superbly and showed zero signs of being on the downside. With the exception of Mumm DVX, I would not even think of letting any other California Sparkling white go past 5 years, but Le Reve seems to be a real exception. This one, if one wants to could probably go 3 to 5+ more years and still be very good. Excellent!! -- 92 points
