I don't care for rose as a general rule, but this was rather amazing! Deep, jewel tone color, like a ruby but even more so. Big fruit on the nose, highly complex on the mid-palate and a long finish. It's a shame this isn't available for general purchase, because it's the rose that brought me around!

The bottle looks like something you'd open on date night: clear glass with black print and the wine is kind of an exotic candy red, almost like dense, ripe watermelon. Definitely on the dark side of rose'. Red raspberry, maraschino cherry and grape jolly rancher on the nose with some faint cola character. Excellent mouth feel with a slight richness and good acidity. Dry and very fruity, but with darker fruit than what I'd think for rose' - cherry liquor and something almost spritzy, like Chinotto San Pellegrino. Grape jolly rancher shows up a bit in the finish. This wine is fascinatingly weird and delicious. I've come to find that this winery has a knack for concocting some strangely interesting rose', and they've all been totally enjoyable.
